The Antistatic PVC Curtain combines a transparent flexible-vinyl barrier with a bonded conductive diamond grid and a defined grounding connection. A reinforced top header supports suspension, while sealed perimeter edges and a chain-weighted lower pocket stabilize the panel. When the grounding lead is correctly connected, the grid provides a controlled route for accumulated surface charge instead of leaving the softwall electrically isolated.

Static-control performance depends on an intact conductive path, correct grounding and suitable cleaning practice. A damaged grid, disconnected lead or insulating residue can reduce the intended charge-dissipation function.

The curtain may remain electrically isolated if the lead is not connected.Connect the ring terminal to an approved ground point and include it in routine checks.
Cuts or deep abrasion can interrupt sections of the carbon grid.Inspect the grid and grounding snap for continuity after installation or impact.
Cleaner residue can leave an insulating film over the dissipative surface.Use a compatible low-residue cleaner and follow the defined wipe sequence.
Poor overlap can create an airflow gap even when ESD control is satisfactory.Specify the panel width and overlap separately from the electrical requirements.
