Introduction de produit

The carbon dioxide sensor uses non-dispersive infrared absorption to measure CO₂ without consuming a reactive sensing material. Room air diffuses through protected openings into the optical chamber, where wavelength-selective measurement separates carbon dioxide absorption from the reference signal. Temperature compensation and baseline-management options support stable indoor operation. Selectable voltage, current or network outputs let ventilation controls, environmental monitoring and room displays use the same measured concentration.

Key Features

NDIR optical measurement is selective to carbon dioxide and does not consume electrolyte.

A dual-channel or reference-compensated design reduces long-term light-source drift.

Ventilated wall housing samples occupied-zone air while protecting the optical chamber.

Configurable analog and network outputs support both HVAC control and monitoring.

Préoccupations du client produit

CO₂ measurements are most useful when the sensor sees representative room air and its baseline behavior matches the occupancy pattern.

A sensor near a door or supply diffuser responds to transient air instead of the occupied zone.A stable wall location away from direct drafts provides a more representative room sample.
Automatic baseline correction is unsuitable for continuously occupied spaces.Selectable baseline strategy allows fixed or manually referenced calibration where CO₂ never falls to outdoor levels.
Dust or cleaning spray enters the optical path.Protected diffusion vents and an easy-wipe enclosure reduce direct contamination.
Ventilation controls and monitoring use separate sensors that disagree.Multiple outputs distribute one measured value to both systems.
