Introduction de produit

This anemometer uses a low-friction rotating vane to average airflow across a practical circular sensing area. The handheld display converts vane speed into velocity and, when an outlet area is entered, volumetric flow. An articulating telescopic shaft reaches overhead grilles and awkward openings while data averaging stabilizes readings in turbulent supply and return streams.

Key Features

Large rotating vane averages turbulent airflow over a practical area.

Articulating telescopic probe reaches overhead and recessed openings.

Integrated temperature sensing adds context to airflow readings.

User-entered area enables direct volume-flow calculation.

Timed and multi-point averaging supports repeatable traverses.

Handheld logging stores measurements for later reporting.

Préoccupations du client produit

Grille and diffuser measurements require a sensor that averages turbulence, stays aligned with the stream and reaches overhead points without disturbing the outlet.

Turbulent flow at a grille can make small sensors fluctuate.A large rotating vane spatially averages the stream and selectable time averaging smooths the display.
Overhead diffusers are difficult to reach while keeping the sensor aligned.A telescopic shaft and articulating head position the vane perpendicular to the flow.
Velocity alone does not show total flow through an outlet.Stored duct and grille areas allow the meter to calculate and display volumetric flow.
Manual records can lose the relationship between points in a traverse.Onboard logging and point statistics preserve individual, average and peak readings.
