Introduction de produit

The ammonia removal filter uses porous carbon or alumina carrying an acidic impregnant chosen to neutralize NH3. The media is contained in a corrosion-resistant box or refillable cartridge with a uniform depth across the airflow path. This dedicated chemistry provides more reliable ammonia capacity than untreated carbon and helps protect staff areas, animals, process materials and downstream HVAC components. A particle prefilter should be installed upstream to keep the reactive surface accessible.

Key Features

Acid-impregnated granules chemically retain ammonia instead of relying only on weak physical adsorption.

Even media packing supports consistent residence time across the entire face.

Corrosion-resistant mesh and casing tolerate the intended basic-gas environment.

Serviceable cell formats simplify staged replacement after media-capacity monitoring.

Préoccupations du client produit

Ammonia has a low molecular weight and weak affinity for untreated carbon, so a general odour filter may fail without warning.

Untreated carbon releases ammonia again as conditions change.Acid impregnation converts captured NH3 into a more strongly retained salt.
Odour is noticed before a planned maintenance interval ends.A deeper bed and scheduled media-capacity checks provide a more predictable replacement point.
Filter housing components corrode in a persistent ammonia atmosphere.Stainless steel or coated metal construction isolates the media and resists surface attack.
Adsorbent fines escape from a vibrating air-handling unit.Fine outlet screens and compressed media retain pellets and dust inside the cartridge.
