Introduction de produit

The activated carbon pleated pre-filter combines a synthetic particulate layer with finely distributed activated carbon in a supported pleated pack. The particulate fibers protect the adsorbent from premature dust blockage, while the carbon surface captures low concentrations of odor molecules and common indoor or outdoor gaseous pollutants. Pleating increases contact area within standard 50 or 100 mm filter tracks. The filter is intended for comfort and light molecular-control duty, not for concentrated process gas capture or bulk chemical storage protection.

Key Features

One pleated pack provides coarse-particle removal and low-level molecular adsorption.

The upstream synthetic layer limits dust fouling of the activated-carbon surface.

A standard panel footprint allows odor-control upgrades without a separate deep carbon bed.

Distributed adsorbent shortens diffusion distance and responds quickly to fluctuating low gas concentrations.

Préoccupations du client produit

A thin carbon panel has finite adsorbent mass, so its contaminant load and humidity exposure must remain within light-duty molecular-control conditions.

Outdoor traffic odors enter through a filter stage designed only for particles.Activated carbon distributed through the pleated medium adsorbs many low-level organic odor compounds.
Dust coats loose carbon and consumes pressure drop before the adsorbent is used.An integrated particulate layer captures coarse material before it reaches the carbon-bearing layer.
A deep granular carbon module will not fit the existing air-handler track. The combined media is formed into standard 44 or 95 mm panel depths for straightforward retrofitting.
Stored carbon filters lose capacity by adsorbing warehouse humidity and background vapors.Sealed packaging is kept closed until installation and stock is rotated within the recommended shelf period.
