Introducción del producto

This explosion-proof axial exhaust fan is configured as a complete hazardous-area ventilation assembly rather than relying on one blade material alone. The long-cased steel housing, impeller and casing material pairing, running clearance, compatible hazardous-area motor, external terminal enclosure, bonding provisions and cable glands are selected together for the intended gas group, temperature class and Zone or Class. External electrical access and bolted duct flanges allow the rotating and wiring components to be inspected without removing the complete duct run.

Características clave

The impeller alloy, casing contact material and running clearance are selected together as one spark-resistant construction instead of treating aluminum blades alone as protection.

External Ex d flameproof or Ex e increased-safety motor arrangements can be matched to the electrical classification and conveyed atmosphere.

A metal terminal enclosure, hazardous-area cable glands and identified bonding points provide a controlled electrical connection at the fan body.

Heavy-gauge welded casing, spun flanges and external stiffeners help preserve the specified tip clearance during horizontal or vertical installation.

Preocupaciones del producto del cliente

Ventilation in flammable-vapor areas must move the required air while the complete mechanical and electrical construction addresses foreseeable ignition sources.

An unsuitable impeller and casing material combination can produce friction or impact sparks even when one component is aluminum. The material pairing, tip clearance, casing rigidity and inspection access are selected and maintained as one spark-resistant fan construction.
A motor, terminal box or cable gland that does not match the hazardous-area classification can remain an electrical ignition source.A compatible Ex motor arrangement, protected terminal enclosure and hazardous-area cable glands are selected for the intended Zone or Class, gas group and temperature class.
Static charge can accumulate across isolated metal duct and fan sections.Dedicated bonding lugs and grounded conductive connections maintain electrical continuity across the casing, flanges and adjacent ductwork.
Corrosion or casing distortion can reduce blade clearance after prolonged chemical-service operation.A reinforced corrosion-protected shell and accessible inspection points support routine checks of coating condition, fasteners and running clearance.
