The constant air volume controller uses the force acting on an aerodynamic blade to oppose a calibrated spring or bellows mechanism. As duct pressure rises, the blade moves toward the throttling position; as pressure falls, it opens to preserve the selected airflow. The setpoint is adjusted on an external scale without entering the air path. A rectangular flanged casing supports direct duct installation, while low-friction bearings and an accessible mechanism allow stable movement through the working pressure range.
