Introduction de produit

The remote alarm module places alarm acquisition close to cleanroom equipment, sensors or utility panels. Isolated digital inputs receive dry contacts or selected voltage states, and local LEDs show channel condition during service. Relay outputs can operate beacons, sounders or shutdown interlocks under central or local logic. RS-485 or Ethernet communication transfers point status, channel diagnostics and output commands to the central system, reducing long individual cable runs from every alarm point.

Key Features

Galvanically isolated inputs protect central electronics from field wiring disturbances.

Local channel LEDs show input and relay state without opening software tools.

Distributed placement reduces the amount of home-run alarm cable across the facility.

Watchdog and communication-fault indication distinguish a network problem from a normal input.

Préoccupations du client produit

Distributed alarm I/O must preserve channel identity and reveal communication loss rather than silently freezing the last known state.

Dozens of alarm contacts require long home-run cables to the central panel.A local module aggregates nearby points onto one supervised communication link.
Technicians cannot see whether an input is active at the field cabinet.Per-channel LEDs show physical input and commanded output states locally.
A field voltage transient damages the central alarm controller.Isolated inputs and relays separate remote wiring from the communication electronics.
Network loss leaves the operator believing all remote points are normal.Watchdog and heartbeat monitoring generate a dedicated module-offline alarm.
