The pass box UV lamp is a replaceable irradiation assembly installed inside a compatible transfer chamber. A low-pressure UV-C tube is supported by heat-resistant ceramic holders on a shallow stainless-steel trough that also provides a stable mounting surface. The reflector, tube length, holder spacing, supply cable and ballast requirements must match the original equipment. UV-C output is invisible and potentially hazardous, so the lamp is intended for an enclosed, interlocked cycle that prevents personnel exposure while the chamber is operating.
