The Compressed Air Sterile Filter is a single-cartridge sanitary assembly intended for final microbial control after the compressed-air train has removed bulk liquid, oil aerosol, particles and excessive moisture. The selected 0072 / 10/30-class configuration uses one electropolished 316L housing, two opposed DN40 sanitary clamp connections, one vent, one low-point drain, one quick-release body clamp and one hydrophobic pleated borosilicate depth element protected by stainless liners. Air flows through the cartridge from the inside outward, while the smooth drainable housing supports controlled steam sterilization and integrity-management procedures. This product is not a substitute for upstream coalescing or drying equipment, and its published challenge result does not remove the need for validated installation, sterilization and integrity checks.

A sterile-grade element can lose flow or process assurance when upstream aerosols reach the media, steam condensate is trapped, the housing is not fully vented or integrity is assumed rather than verified.

Oil aerosol or bulk condensate can wet and foul the sterile element before it reaches its intended service lifeInstall the housing downstream of correctly sized separation, drying, particulate and high-efficiency coalescing stages, and verify their drains before commissioning the final filter.

Trapped air and condensate can create cold spots during steam sterilizationKeep the housing vertical, open the designated top vent and low-point drain in the approved sequence, and monitor the required temperature and time at the filter assembly.

Excessive differential pressure during steaming can deform even a mechanically supported cartridgeControl upstream and downstream steam pressure so differential pressure across the element stays within the published 0.5 bar SIP limit.
