Low-Noise - Fan-Filter Einheit

A quiet EC-powered FFU that combines motor isolation, a rounded inlet and an acoustic-lined plenum to reduce tonal noise above occupied cleanroom work areas.
  • Acoustic-Lined Pressure Plenum
  • Elastomeric Motor Isolation
  • Low-Turbulence Inlet Bell
  • Quiet Variable-Speed EC Drive

Produkteinführung

The low-noise fan filter unit controls airborne and structure-borne sound at their main sources. A backward-curved EC fan sits on elastomeric isolators, while a smooth inlet bell reduces separation noise entering the wheel. Selected interior surfaces carry cleanable encapsulated acoustic lining, and the outlet baffle moderates local velocity peaks before the final filter. The result is intended for continuously occupied rooms where speech, concentration and operator comfort matter alongside particulate control.

Key Features

Elastomeric fan mounts reduce the vibration transferred from the rotating assembly into the plenum and ceiling grid.

A radiused intake bell lowers inlet turbulence and the broadband noise associated with a sharp-edged opening.

Encapsulated acoustic lining absorbs internal fan noise without exposing loose fibers to the clean-air path.

Continuous EC speed control allows the unit to operate at the lowest practical rotational speed for the required airflow.

Kunden Produktbedenken

A quiet FFU must reduce fan and vibration noise without placing porous or shedding materials in the downstream clean-air path.

A tonal motor sound becomes tiring when operators work directly below FFUs for a full shift. The EC motor, rounded inlet and optimized backward-curved wheel reduce the dominant rotating and inlet tones.
Fan vibration travels through a rigid casing and turns the suspended ceiling into a sounding board.Elastomeric mounts interrupt the structural transmission path between the fan and the module frame.
Unprotected fibrous acoustic foam could shed particles into the clean airflow. The selected sound-absorbing liner is sealed behind a cleanable perforated facing on the upstream plenum surfaces.
A unit selected at maximum speed remains unnecessarily loud after room balancing.Variable EC control lets each module run only fast enough to meet the measured airflow setpoint.
