Filtro estéril de vacío

A compact full-vacuum sanitary filter that places one hydrophobic 0.2 µm PTFE gas cartridge between a clean process suction line and its vacuum source, helping retain microbial aerosols and particles before they reach the pump.
  • Full-vacuum 316L sanitary housing
  • One hydrophobic 0.2 µm PTFE cartridge
  • 1-inch Tri-Clamp ports with vent and drain

Introducción del producto

The Vacuum Sterile Filter is a small suction-line barrier for clean and aseptic utility applications where a vacuum pump must be isolated from process aerosols without using a general-purpose aluminum inlet bowl. The locked configuration pairs one Pall BTS7001G23J-class T-flow Junior housing with one SBF1PFRWH4-class hydrophobic double-layer PTFE cartridge. Its electropolished 316L body is rated for full vacuum, uses two 1-inch sanitary connections, and provides dedicated vent and low-point drain functions around a single replaceable element. The assembly supports controlled in-situ steaming when the selected cartridge, seal and procedure are compatible. It is not a liquid separator, does not create vacuum and does not by itself establish a permanently sterile system.

Características clave

Full-vacuum housing construction resists atmospheric external pressure on the suction side of the pump

A single pleated double-layer hydrophobic PTFE cartridge provides a defined microbial and particulate barrier for compatible gas service

The compact 64 mm body and 218 mm-class overall height suit point-of-use or skid-mounted vacuum branches

Electropolished 316L wetted surfaces reduce crevices and support hygienic cleaning around the reusable housing

Two 1-inch sanitary Tri-Clamp ferrules avoid the threaded aluminum ports commonly used on ordinary pump inlet filters

A dedicated top vent helps displace trapped gas during wetting or steaming operations

A low-point drain gives condensate a controlled exit after isolation and safe vacuum release

The quick-release closure ring and rear stainless mounting bracket simplify element access while keeping the housing vertical

Preocupaciones del producto del cliente

Vacuum filtration performance depends on line conductance, gas load, moisture carryover, element integrity, steam sequencing and the lowest absolute pressure expected at the housing.

A filter selected from positive-pressure flow data can impose excessive suction loss and reduce vacuum response at the process connectionSize the cartridge from the actual gas throughput, inlet absolute pressure and allowable clean-to-change pressure drop, including the conductance of valves and tubing.
Bulk liquid or foam can wet the membrane, sharply increase resistance and carry contamination toward the vacuum pumpInstall a correctly sized receiver or sanitary knockout stage upstream where liquid carryover is credible, keep the filter vertical and drain the isolated housing at its low point.
A thin housing intended only for internal pressure can deform when its interior is evacuatedUse the documented full-vacuum housing boundary and verify that every valve, gauge blank, clamp, gasket and accessory shares the required vacuum rating.
Trapped air or condensate can prevent uniform steam exposure and leave the cartridge wet after a sterilization cycleUse the dedicated top vent and bottom drain in a defined steam sequence, control differential pressure across the element and allow drying before vacuum service resumes.
Calling an element sterile without an integrity check can hide installation damage, seal bypass or media wettingDefine a compatible integrity-test method and acceptance limit for the selected cartridge, then test at the intervals required by the process control plan.
A terminal exhaust HEPA filter or ordinary dirt-loading inlet filter may be mistaken for a sanitary microbial barrierSpecify the suction-side process boundary, hydrophobic microbially rated cartridge, sanitary full-vacuum housing and steam-compatible arrangement as one matched assembly.

Parámetros técnicos

The locked catalogue-scale identity is one BTS7001G23J-class T-flow Junior sanitary housing fitted with one SBF1PFRWH4-class filter. The housing basis is electropolished 316L stainless steel, approximately 64 mm across the cylindrical body and 218 mm high, with a -1 to 10 barg published pressure envelope, 140°C housing steam-temperature limit, one closure ring, two 1-inch sanitary ferrules, one top vent, one bottom drain and one rear mounting bracket. The element basis is one compact single-open-end cartridge with 410 cm² of pleated double-layer hydrophobic 0.2 µm PTFE media and a silicone seal. Full-vacuum compatibility belongs to the selected housing; microbial retention, steam life and integrity limits belong to the selected element and must be applied at the actual operating conditions.
