The FFU pre-filter installs at the fan intake to intercept lint, fibers and coarse particles before they load the impeller or final filter. A shallow aluminum frame holds synthetic media against an expanded-metal support grid, preserving open area under fan suction. Service tabs allow the panel to be removed from a restricted ceiling plenum without disturbing the HEPA filter. Face dimensions, thickness, media grade and airflow direction must match the FFU intake rack.
