This automatic door drop seal is a narrow mortised assembly for the bottom edge of cleanroom swing doors. A jamb-contacting plunger transfers closing movement through a spring-loaded linkage inside the extruded aluminum carrier. The linkage lowers one continuous silicone blade after the door reaches the frame and returns it into the carrier as soon as the door opens. The self-levelling movement helps the blade follow modest floor variation without dragging across the walking surface during the swing cycle.
Key Features
A spring-return pushrod and pivot linkage retract the blade promptly to reduce scraping, rolling resistance and premature elastomer wear.
The continuous dark silicone blade descends in a parallel action to close the under-door air path across the full leaf width.
The slim natural-aluminum carrier can be recessed into the door bottom and serviced from the actuator end without a floor-mounted track.
