The Acid Mist Purifier is a compact vertical wet-scrubbing unit for local exhaust containing compatible acid aerosol and water-soluble acid fumes. Contaminated air enters below the packed section and rises against recirculating neutralizing liquid distributed across the media. The packing provides the transfer area needed for absorption, while the upper droplet eliminator limits liquid carryover before the cleaned stream reaches the outlet. A welded PP-H tower, integral sump, corrosion-resistant pump and accessible service points form one coordinated assembly. Pollutant chemistry, droplet loading, airflow, liquor selection, packing depth, pressure drop, blowdown and fan duty are configured for the actual process rather than assumed from the catalogue image.
