Introduction de produit

The cleanroom door status sensor uses a reed or solid-state magnetic element in the frame and a permanent magnet in the moving leaf. Because the two parts do not touch, the device avoids exposed mechanical levers and tolerates frequent door cycles. Flush stainless or smooth polymer housings sit nearly level with the door surfaces for easier wiping. Normally open, normally closed or changeover contacts provide a direct input to airlock interlocks, room pressure controls, alarms and access monitoring.

Key Features

Non-contact switching avoids the wear and debris associated with mechanical limit levers.

Flush or low-profile bodies preserve smooth door and frame surfaces for routine cleaning.

Clearly matched sensor and magnet geometry provides repeatable switching distance.

Dry-contact or solid-state outputs connect directly to common PLC, DDC and interlock inputs.

Préoccupations du client produit

Reliable door status depends on alignment, switching gap and cable protection rather than only the electrical contact type.

A door looks closed but the sensor remains open because the magnet is misaligned.Matched flush pockets and alignment marks position the magnet within the specified operating gap.
A protruding limit switch traps residue on the cleanroom frame.A flush non-contact sensor removes exposed actuator arms and horizontal ledges.
Repeated door movement breaks an unprotected cable at the frame.Fixed frame wiring and sealed rear entry keep the cable away from hinges and moving hardware.
The interlock cannot distinguish a cut cable from a closed door.Normally closed or supervised circuits allow open-circuit wiring faults to create a detectable abnormal state.
