Introduction de produit

The Biosafety Pass Box is a fixed through-wall enclosure for moving closed sample carriers, instruments and packaged supplies across a laboratory containment boundary without opening a personnel route. The selected configuration uses two opposing glazed doors with compression/inflatable EPDM sealing beads and an electrical one-door-at-a-time interlock. One controlled blower draws chamber air through a dedicated exhaust HEPA stage and returns filtered make-up air through a separate supply HEPA stage, allowing the transfer volume to be operated below the adjacent-room pressure when containment is the priority. A local differential-pressure gauge, touchscreen and red-green status lamps show the purge and interlock state before the release sequence continues. The all-welded coved AISI 316L transfer zone is surrounded by an AISI 304 service enclosure and includes two capped connections for a compatible external VHP cycle package. The base product does not claim a universal biosafety level or sterilization result; chamber pressure, purge timing and any biodecontamination cycle are selected and verified for the intended facility process.

Key Features

Separate supply and exhaust HEPA stages place a filter on both sides of the active purge path, while one controlled blower can maintain the chamber below adjoining-room pressure for a containment-oriented transfer sequence.

Opposing airtight observation doors use reinforced glazing, EPDM sealing beads and a one-door-at-a-time electrical interlock to avoid an unrestricted opening through the wall barrier.

The local pressure gauge, touchscreen and dedicated red-green indicators give operators direct feedback on chamber pressure, purge progress and door-release availability.

Rounded welded interior corners and two capped VHP-ready connections support wipe-down access and an optional validated biodecontamination package without building a sterilizer into every transfer box.

Préoccupations du client produit

Containment laboratories need a material route that limits direct room-to-room airflow, keeps contaminated chamber air within a filtered path and makes each door-release condition visible to operators.

Opening two transfer doors together can create an uncontrolled pathway across the containment barrier. The electrical interlock releases only one of the two gasket-compression doors at a time and keeps the opposing door secured.
A positive or unfiltered purge could move airborne material toward the adjacent room. The configured blower maintains a negative-pressure chamber path with separate exhaust and supply HEPA stages before the receiving door is released.
Operators may not know whether the purge or pressure condition is ready for unloading.A pressure gauge, touchscreen and red-green status lamps provide local indication of the active cycle and interlock state.
Some packaged loads cannot tolerate steam treatment but still need a planned surface-decontamination route. Two capped service connections allow a compatible external VHP and aeration package to be specified when the process requires it.

Les applications typiques

Transfer of closed specimen carriers and packaged laboratory supplies across a configured high-containment room boundaryControlled movement of compatible instruments between research, diagnostic or biopharmaceutical processing zonesMaterial ingress or egress where a negative-pressure HEPA purge is preferred to a static pass-through chamberHeat-sensitive load transfer where an optional external VHP cycle is selected through a facility risk assessment
