Introduction de produit

The Compressed Air Precision Filter is a single vertical inline housing for general fine filtration in a compressed-air treatment train. The selected M018-class arrangement has one corrosion-protected aluminum head, one extruded aluminum housing body, two coaxial horizontal pipe ports, one top-mounted differential-pressure indicator, one front safety slide with locking screw, one internal cylindrical depth-filter element, one bottom automatic float drain and one stainless-steel wall bracket. Air enters through one side of the head, passes from the inside to the outside of the element and leaves through the opposite port. The element combines borosilicate nonwoven media, expanded-stainless supports, polypropylene pleat support and a polyester drainage layer. This page deliberately stops at the FX fine-filter stage: it is not an activated-carbon oil-vapour adsorber, a super-fine oil-removal stage, a sterile membrane, a point-of-use capsule, a steam filter, a liquid separator or a dryer.

Key Features

FX-grade depth media provides a representative 99.9% separation rate for 0.5–1 μm solid particles under the stated reference conditions

Inside-to-outside flow distributes contamination through the media depth while the outer drainage layer guides coalesced liquid toward the bowl base

Opposed horizontal inlet and outlet ports keep the housing compact within a straight compressed-air header

A top differential-pressure indicator gives a direct visual signal of increasing element resistance without opening the housing

The automatic float drain discharges collected condensate from the lowest point without a continuous intentional air loss

An anodized and powder-coated aluminum head, body and base provide corrosion protection at substantially lower mass than an equivalent stainless housing

A double-start trapezoidal head-to-body thread, front safety slide and locking screw provide a repeatable service closure

The removable stainless-steel wall bracket supports vertical installation while leaving the lower body accessible for element replacement

Préoccupations du client produit

Fine particulate and aerosol loading can raise pressure loss, damage sensitive pneumatic equipment and overload the next purification stage if the inline filter is incorrectly graded, sized or drained.

A filter selected only by port size may be overloaded at peak demand and create an avoidable pressure dropCorrect the required flow for the minimum inlet pressure and temperature, then keep the representative M018-class unit within approximately 126–546 m³/h at 7 bar reference conditions.
Collected condensate can re-enter the air stream when the bowl drain is blocked or incorrectly setInstall the housing vertically, connect the bottom float drain to a suitable condensate-treatment line and test the automatic discharge function during routine service.
Progressive particle loading increases energy use before an element appears visibly dirtyUse the top differential-pressure indicator as a service cue and replace the element when the approved maintenance limit or elapsed interval is reached.
Reversed flow can disrupt drainage and reduce the intended separation behaviorAlign the raised direction mark with plant airflow and rotate the reversible head only as described for the double-start housing connection.
A single fine filter cannot remove dissolved oil vapour, deliver sterile air or control dew pointAdd a separately selected high-efficiency oil-removal or adsorption stage, sterile point-of-use filter and dryer where the final air-quality specification requires those functions.

Les applications typiques

Paramètres techniques

The selected catalogue-scale identity is an M018-class threaded FX fine filter with a nominal energy-optimized flow of 420 m³/h at 7 bar(g), 20°C and 1 bar(abs) reference conditions. The published 30–130% efficient loading band corresponds to approximately 126–546 m³/h. It uses opposed G or NPT 1½-inch connections, a 146 mm housing width and an approximately 633 mm maximum assembled height for the selected drain arrangement. The reference FX element separates 99.9% of 0.5–1 μm solids and publishes a 0.05 mg/m³ residual aerosol value from a 10 mg/m³ inlet challenge. Actual delivered air quality and pressure loss depend on upstream separation, dryer performance, inlet contamination, pressure, temperature, service condition and the complete treatment train.
