The cleanroom sprinkler combines a listed sprinkler body with a recessed or concealed escutcheon that closes the visible ceiling opening. A gasketed trim ring limits exposed gaps at the cleanroom panel, while the cover or recessed plate remains removable for inspection. The sprinkler temperature rating, response type and hydraulic design are selected by the project fire engineer rather than inferred from the ceiling appearance.
