The Colony Counter combines an illuminated gridded plate stage, adjustable magnification and an electronic tally in one compact bench instrument. The operator marks or touches each visible colony while the counter advances with audible feedback. Interchangeable plate adapters, contrast control and a stable arm help maintain viewing comfort across common Petri dish formats.
