Oil Mist Purifier (Electrostatic Type) extracts oil mist and fine oil-smoke particles from machining equipment, helping reduce oily haze and residue around the work area. It connects to machine enclosures for local collection during cutting and grinding, when tool movement and coolant delivery disperse machining fluids into airborne droplets.
Electrostatic precipitation charges suspended particles and draws them onto collecting surfaces inside the unit. Capturing these droplets near the machining process limits their spread toward nearby equipment and work surfaces, reducing the buildup that creates repeated cleaning work.
FEATURES
The electric field captures suspended oil droplets and smoke particles as the extracted air passes through the collector.
The screen provides mechanical interception and can be cleaned for reuse, supporting routine removal of accumulated deposits.
The round connection joins the unit to the extraction duct. The front service door provides access for routine maintenance beside the machine.
APPLICATIONS
Collect coolant mist from enclosed milling and drilling areas before it disperses into the surrounding workshop.
Extract mist produced around rotating stock and cutting tools during turning, particularly where cutting fluid is applied continuously.
Collect oil mist and oil-smoke particles released at lubricated cutting or grinding zones, with extraction matched to the fluid and process.
SELECTION
The higher-airflow specification suits greater extraction demand. Size the system around the machine enclosure, duct length and bends; nominal airflow alone does not establish the number of machines it can serve.
The smaller cabinet suits a more restricted installation envelope. The larger specification needs additional space and a wider duct connection; allow clearance for opening the service door.
Plan screen and collecting-surface cleaning around the actual deposit buildup. Easy access helps keep routine maintenance practical during production.
FAQ
Both are relevant machining applications. Match the collection setup to the actual coolant, mist concentration and operating conditions when selecting the unit.
