Replaceable carbon blocks
The blocks provide the adsorbing medium. Replacing spent blocks renews the treatment medium without replacing the cabinet.

Activated Carbon Adsorption Box reduces organic vapours and odour-causing compounds in collected industrial exhaust. As the gas passes through the carbon, compatible molecules are retained on its internal pore surfaces. Installed in an extraction duct, the box adds gas treatment before discharge for contaminants that particle filters alone do not capture.
Carbon blocks sit in accessible drawers for scheduled replacement. This makes the adsorption section serviceable while the cabinet remains in the duct system, helping operators manage spent media as part of routine exhaust-system maintenance.
FEATURES
The blocks provide the adsorbing medium. Replacing spent blocks renews the treatment medium without replacing the cabinet.
Individual drawers provide access for loading and removal. Keep the service side clear so the drawers can be fully withdrawn during maintenance.
Spray-coated steel and stainless steel options allow the enclosure to be selected for the installation environment and the exhaust stream.
APPLICATIONS
Treat compatible solvent vapours collected from ink handling, printing and drying, with dust or aerosol carryover removed upstream.
Use on collected exhaust from mixing or material-transfer operations where the organic compounds are suited to the selected carbon.
Treat compatible solvent-bearing exhaust from coating or equipment-cleaning processes, with carbon selection matched to the actual gas mixture.
Reduce odours in air collected from enclosed waste reception or transfer areas, using a suitable carbon grade and pretreatment for wet or dusty air.
SELECTION
The smaller cabinet suits a lower-flow extraction line and takes less installation space. The larger version combines higher airflow with more carbon blocks and service drawers; allow for its greater equipment weight and maintenance access.
Gas composition, concentration, temperature and humidity affect adsorption and carbon life. Select the carbon grade for the compounds being treated, especially when mixed odours are present.
Remove dust and oily mist before the carbon section to limit deposits on the medium. Size the extraction fan for the airflow and the pressure loss of the complete duct and treatment system.
FAQ
Use inlet and outlet gas measurements, operating hours and contaminant loading to plan replacement. Carbon gradually fills with adsorbed compounds, so a fixed calendar interval does not suit every exhaust stream.
It contains more carbon blocks but also handles a larger exhaust volume. Media life depends on the amount and type of contaminants reaching the carbon, as well as the operating conditions.
