Machine-Made Polyurethane Cold Room Panel combines a PUR or PIR rigid foam core with metal faces for refrigerated walls and ceilings. Higher foam density, improved insulation, stronger compression resistance and enhanced flame retardancy are the four key features: they help limit incoming heat, support the facings and address cold-room fire-performance requirements.
The single-groove NorMa-style connection follows a stepped interlocking path. Metal-wrapped edges protect the groove during handling, while sealed joints and closed corners complete the insulated enclosure.
APPLICATION ENVIRONMENTS
Form insulated walls and ceilings around ingredients and finished food in processing, catering and distribution facilities.
Separate frozen storage from warmer surroundings with insulation thickness and sealed junctions matched to the refrigeration design.
Fit panel runs around access doors and handling areas so the enclosure follows the goods flow.
PRACTICAL BENEFITS
The shaped edge provides a defined meeting point for adjoining panels and their seals.
Thin metal returns cover the joint edges, helping protect their shape during handling and assembly.
Metal faces enclose the foam and leave the room surface accessible for routine cleaning.
SELECTION GUIDE
Choose foam type and thickness for the storage temperature and the surrounding conditions.
Plan seals and closures through wall junctions and door frames; coordinate the ceiling support layout separately.
Select PPGI or SS304 facing to suit moisture exposure and the cleaning procedure.
PRODUCT QUESTIONS
It describes the stepped interlocking connection between adjacent panels. Metal-wrapped edges and the selected seals complete that junction.
Yes. It is used for both cold-room walls and ceilings, with the supports and openings arranged for each part of the enclosure.
PUR is polyurethane and PIR is polyisocyanurate. Both are rigid foam options; their density ranges and fire grades are listed separately in the table.
