PVC Flooring (Roll) covers indoor floors with a continuous decorative sheet, reducing the number of joints compared with small individual tiles. Its wear layer protects the printed pattern from everyday foot traffic, while the smooth surface makes routine cleaning easier in busy rooms and corridors.
The layered construction combines surface protection, glass-fibre reinforcement and a cushioned base. These layers support the sheet and soften footfall, helping create a comfortable walking surface with reduced impact noise. Solid colours, speckled patterns and wood effects allow adjacent rooms to share a coordinated finish.
SURFACE AND CONSTRUCTION
Protection above, support beneath
Surface durability
The UV-coated surface and PVC wear layer provide stain, water and abrasion resistance. The flooring also has corrosion-resistant, flame-retardant, compression-resistant and slip-resistant properties; select the finish for the room's traffic and cleaning conditions.
Reinforcement and cushioning
The glass-fibre and reinforcing layers support the sheet, while the base and dense backing add cushioning and help reduce footfall noise. The roll format covers broad areas without laying many separate pieces.
APPLICATIONS
Floors used and cleaned every day
01Schools and kindergartens
Cover classrooms and circulation areas where daily walking, easy cleaning and a softer surface underfoot matter.
02Offices, shops and showrooms
Provide a coordinated decorative floor across working and display areas, with colours and patterns suited to the interior.
03Hospitals and care homes
For corridors and occupied rooms, a smooth sheet surface supports routine cleaning, with joints and perimeter details designed around the cleaning regime.
04Clean workshops and operating rooms
Consider sheet flooring where a cleanable surface is needed, selecting the floor, sealed joints and coved edges to meet the room's hygiene, chemical-resistance and any electrical-resistance requirements.
INSTALLATION
Prepare the base and finish the joints
Subfloor preparation
Concrete, terrazzo, epoxy, ceramic tile and wood bases need a sound, smooth, flat, dry and clean surface. Secure loose areas and level joints or unevenness before laying the sheet.
Adhesive and edge details
Match the adhesive to the prepared base and flooring. Plan sheet joins, thresholds and wall edges together; use a compatible sealed-seam system where the room requires it.
