Machine-Made Silica Rock Sandwich Panel forms room partitions and supported ceilings with a bonded silica rock core between two metal faces. The core adds thermal insulation and supports the skins across the panel, giving the room a finished lining without leaving the core exposed to routine cleaning.
Formed interlocking edges connect the sections along the wall or ceiling. At door openings, corners and cut ends, closure profiles cover the granular material and provide a finished edge for sealing. This keeps insulation, panel joints and opening details connected throughout the enclosure.
APPLICATION ENVIRONMENTS
Enclose controlled production or packaging spaces with metal-faced insulation, sealed panel joints and closed edges around doors and windows.
Continue the silica rock lining across the ceiling, coordinating panel supports and closures around lighting, filters and service openings.
PRACTICAL BENEFITS
The silica rock centre limits heat transfer and backs the metal skins, combining the insulating layer with the room's exposed lining.
Closing cut ends and service openings keeps the granular material behind finished profiles rather than exposed along the room boundary.
The interlocking edges join neighbouring boards into straight panel runs, with accessible seams for sealing and cleaning.
SELECTION GUIDE
Place door, window and service cut-outs within the panel schedule and provide closures wherever the silica rock core is cut.
Coordinate the panel thickness with the wall tracks or ceiling supports, and choose the facing and coating for the room's cleaning routine.
PRODUCT QUESTIONS
Cover the cut core with a suitable closure or opening frame, then seal the junction to the metal facing so the granular edge remains enclosed.
Yes. This version is supplied for wall panels and ceiling systems; the track, support and junction details are arranged for each part of the enclosure.
