Top Gel Seal HEPA Filter seats against the upper sealing interface of a compatible final-filter housing. Its top gel channel receives the matching housing edge, directing air through the media rather than leaving a bypass route at the frame.
This arrangement suits housings planned around an upper contact surface; matching only the visible face dimensions is not enough when replacing the filter.
