Cold Room Fully-Recessed Door provides an insulated entrance for cold stores that need a fully recessed closed-door fit. Cast polyurethane slows heat transfer through the door body, and the recessed rubber seal closes gaps around the entrance to limit warm air infiltration. This helps protect the storage temperature between deliveries and reduces the additional refrigeration load caused by air leaking through a closed doorway.
The closed leaf sits in line with the frame, giving the entrance a flatter transition for routine wiping. The wider entrance accommodates stock and handling equipment, with horizontal sliding operation keeping a swinging leaf out of the approach. Space beside the opening is needed for door travel.
