Pressure-Sensitive Test Film turns contact pressure into a visible colour pattern. Placed between mating surfaces, it shows where pressure is concentrated or missing, helping technicians adjust a press, nip or clamping arrangement instead of judging contact by appearance alone.

MODEL DIFFERENCES
The two most sensitive grades address very light contact.
The lower-pressure two-sheet grades suit a different load band and should be chosen around the expected contact.
The low-pressure grade covers stronger contact than the ultra-low formats.
Both mono-sheet and two-sheet formats are listed; choose the construction that fits access between the surfaces.
The high and super-high mono-sheet grades address progressively heavier contact loads.
APPLICATIONS
Check contact distribution while aligning platens, clamps and tooling.
Investigate uneven pressure along rollers or mating surfaces.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Colour density varies with applied pressure, revealing uneven loading across a contact area.
Different grades cover different pressure ranges so faint contact and heavy clamping can be examined separately.
The developed pattern can be kept with setup records for comparison after adjustment.
SELECTION GUIDANCE
Use a film range that includes the expected load rather than the widest possible range.
Use the appropriate density comparison and exposure conditions for the selected film.
