Steel-Wood Vertical Laminar Flow Clean Bench creates a local filtered workspace for preparing and handling materials that need protection from airborne particles. The downward supply helps keep the working surface under filtered air while the steel-wood construction provides the workstation format.
This arrangement suits bench tasks with containers or apparatus spread across the working depth. Keep air paths around taller equipment open so a clean supply can still reach exposed work.

MODEL DIFFERENCES
The smallest enclosure can be placed on a suitable support for a local preparation task.
The broader enclosure accommodates a wider working layout without adding a floor-standing base.
The self-supporting one-operator version provides a dedicated local workstation.
Additional working depth and length allow containers to be spaced farther apart.
Two access faces change the handover arrangement while keeping the same listed working area.
The two-operator format spreads the task laterally along the bench.
The largest single-sided working area gives more space for two users and their materials.
The wider work area can be approached from opposing sides within the selected handling method.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Pre-filtration and a mini-pleat HEPA filter clean the intake air before it travels down into the working zone.
The hybrid construction combines a coated metal outer surface with a wooden main load-bearing structure.
Several work-area widths and depths support small preparation tasks or larger side-by-side working arrangements.
APPLICATIONS
Protect open culture vessels from airborne contamination during non-hazardous tissue transfer.
Create a clean local area for preparing non-hazardous media and samples.
Support non-hazardous preparation tasks that need filtered air over exposed materials.
Reduce particulate exposure during handling and inspection of sensitive parts.
SELECTION GUIDANCE
Use a benchtop unit on a stable supporting bench, or a floor-standing model for a dedicated workstation.
Choose single- or double-sided access and leave a clear downward air path around the working materials.
PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
It protects the work from airborne contamination. Use it for non-hazardous materials; it does not provide personnel protection or replace a biosafety cabinet or chemical fume hood.
Use UV treatment only when the bench is unoccupied, with eyes and skin protected from exposure. Switch the UV lamp off before working; UV treatment does not replace surface cleaning.
