Steel-Wood Horizontal Laminar Flow Clean Bench directs rear-filtered air across an open work area for clean preparation and assembly. A clear path from the rear filter to the part helps reduce dust landing on newly cleaned components while they are being handled.
Use the horizontal layout for work that can stay close to the clean-air source. Position tools and the operator downstream of the exposed material, and keep the rear filter face accessible for maintenance.

MODEL DIFFERENCES
The narrow enclosure creates a compact rear-fed clean working area on an existing bench.
The increased working length allows a wider preparation arrangement with the same stated depth.
The one-operator unit supplies a dedicated workstation and support.
The two-operator version adds lateral space; keep each workpiece’s upstream path to the rear filter clear.
FEATURES AND BENEFITS
Position exposed work upstream of tools and containers so it receives air directly from the rear supply.
The external steel skin encloses the wooden load-bearing structure; this is a separate material option from the all-steel series.
All four sizes are accessed from one side, keeping the working arrangement aligned with the rear-to-front supply.
APPLICATIONS
Protect small parts from airborne dust during inspection and clean assembly.
Provide filtered airflow for non-hazardous culture-vessel preparation and tissue handling.
Support clean preparation of non-hazardous samples with materials arranged along the airflow.
Limit particulate exposure during non-hazardous material preparation and handling.
SELECTION GUIDANCE
Match the compact or floor-standing format to the available working surface and room layout.
Keep the rear outlet unobstructed and avoid placing used materials upstream of clean work.
PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
It protects the work from airborne contamination. Use it for non-hazardous materials; it does not provide personnel protection or replace a biosafety cabinet or chemical fume hood.
Use UV treatment only when the bench is unoccupied, with eyes and skin protected from exposure. Switch the UV lamp off before working; UV treatment does not replace surface cleaning.
