Conveyor Air Shower carries goods through a chamber where jets from both sides and above remove loose particles from exposed surfaces. It combines transfer and surface dust removal in the production line, reducing the separate lifting and carrying needed at a room boundary.
Sensing, door interlocks and the blowing cycle work together to control passage through the chamber. The unit is built around the load size and the height of the adjoining conveyor line.
MODELS AND DIMENSIONS
| Configuration | Conveying width | Clear passage W × H | Chamber W × L × H | Conveyor height |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Compact line | 600 | 800 × 800 | 1400 × 1500 × 2200 | 800 |
| Medium line | 800 | 1000 × 1000 | 1600 × 2000 × 2400 | 800 |
| Wide line | 1000 | 1200 × 1200 | 1800 × 2500 × 2600 | 800 |
Passage height is measured above the conveying surface. Chamber length excludes the approach and exit conveyors. Width, height and length can be adapted to the load and line layout.
MODEL DIFFERENCES
The 600 mm conveying width and 800 × 800 mm clear passage suit narrower carriers within a shorter 1500 mm chamber.
An 800 mm conveying width and 1000 × 1000 mm passage provide more load clearance, with a 2000 mm chamber length.
The 1000 mm conveying width and 1200 × 1200 mm passage accommodate a wider load envelope; the 2500 mm chamber requires more line length. All three examples use an 800 mm conveyor height.
APPLICATIONS
Feed containers and packaged goods through a dust-removal stage before they enter the clean area.
Transfer parts and trays from the supply line with less manual handling at the room entrance.
Blow loose dust from incoming containers before they reach the packing area.
KEY FEATURES
Nozzles above and beside the load direct air onto exposed surfaces as part of the transfer cycle.
Automatic sensing and interlocked doors coordinate loading, blowing and discharge.
Transparent door sections, internal lighting and a status display make it easier to follow the load through the chamber.
LINE INTEGRATION
Match conveyor type and working height to the existing line so goods transfer without an extra lifting step.
Size the passage for the tallest and widest loaded carrier, with clearance for the doors and air jets.
